Cedar House Investments Attracts Another High Profile Business

Despite the recent economic downturn, leading regional developer Cedar House Investments has sold another unit at Calico Business Park, its five and a half acre mixed-use development in Tamworth.

The company, which recently scooped the title of Property Company of the Year at the regional Estates Gazette Awards, has sold unit three of Hamel House to local insolvency practitioners, Arrans Limited.

Arrans are relocating from their existing premises within Tamworth Executive Business Centre of Silver Street.

Agents for the sale of the 1,860 sq ft office facility were Tamworth-based Calders Chartered Surveyors.

Calico Business Park occupies an excellent location on the outskirts of Tamworth at the heart of the motorway network, just two miles from both junction 10 of the M42 and A5 interchange and the town centre.

The mixed-use scheme consists both offices and modern warehouse and industrial space designed to meet modern business requirements. Only three units now remain, all of which are available for sale or rent.

Commenting on the sale, Chris Carlisle, managing director of Cedar House Investments said:

With a portfolio totalling more than £75 million, Cedar House Investments is one of the region’s most progressive developers.

Despite the current economic climate, development work is continuing at schemes in Ashby, Northampton, Corby and Stoke-on-Trent, together with the 35 acre former Nestlé site in Ashbourne Derbyshire. The company is also transforming the five hectare former Bombardier bogie works on Pride Park in Derby in a £50 million mixed-use development.
